How it Works
The Energy kit uses an AlertMe Hub, just like the Security system, which is linked wirelessly to the various Smart Plugs, the AlertMe Heating Controller, the AlertMe clip on electricity meter and the AlertMe Keyfobs which make up the Energy kit. It is the hub that sends the information gathered by the various energy accessories and sends it to the AlertMe servers, which in turn make it available to the user via a simple web interface. The AlertMe Energy kit will be extremely simple to install and will offer many exciting features which will help the user understand and reduce their energy consumption, as well as their bills.

Presence: The personalised Keyfobs allow the Energy kit to react when the house becomes empty, or the occupants go to bed, automatically adjusting the heating or turning off items using Smart Plugs.
Accidents: Ever left the iron on? By plugging it into an AlertMe Smart Plug you can rest assured that it would automatically turn off when you left the house.
