AlertMe appoints Mary Turner as CEO - Cambridge Network
AlertMe, the award-winning consumer home energy management service, has announced the appointment of Mary Turner as Chief Executive Officer.
She brings to the company a wealth of experience in taking an early stage consumer-focused business and delivering growth, innovation and market leadership, as well as a track record in developing world class distribution partnerships.
Most recently, Ms Turner was CEO of broadband company Tiscali UK from 2001, growing the company from less than half a million dial-up customer to the third largest DSL provider in the UK with revenues of €608m in 2008. Ms Turner also led the acquisitions by Tiscali of npower’s telephone base in 2003, Video Networks IPTV business (Homechoice) in 2006, The Pipex broadband and telephone business in 2007 and the sale of Tiscali UK to The Talk Talk Group in 2009. Ms Turner has remained in an advisory capacity to the TalkTalk Group since the sale and is on the board of ASOS PLC.
