What type of energy user are you?
You’re buying a new house, which of the following would you go for?
| A | An off-grid wood cabin in a beautiful remote valley where I can be totally self-sufficient. | |

| C | A period home with beautiful sash windows and all the original features. | |
| D | Somewhere that’s just right for me, with double glazing and good insulation, without any wasteful extras. |
To relax in the evening I like to:
| A | Eat a healthy salad with a wheatgrass smoothie and then meditate in a darkened room. | |
| B | Kick back with my favourite TV shows on my 50 inch wide screen TV, tunes pumping from the stereo and with the gas fire roaring. | |
| C | Head out for drinks with friends and then come in to flick on the TV and relax in my cosy warm house. | |
| D | Cook myself a nice dinner, and make sure everything in the kitchen is powered off before I switch on the TV and kick back for the night. |
On a freezing winter’s night what do you do:
| A | My house is so well insulated and energy efficient I don’t even notice. | |
| B | Turn the heating up, fire up the gas fire and snuggle up in bed with an electric blanket. | |
| C | Leave the heating on all through the night so I don’t get cold. | |
| D | Dig out my extra warm blanket, put on some super warm clothes and make myself a hot water bottle. night. |
To keep my clothes fresh and clean:
| A | Wash as much of my clothes as I can by hand then hang them out to dry in the fresh air. | |
| B | Wash it at 60 degrees to make sure it’s all sparkling and then straight into the tumble dryer. | |
| C | Separate all my washing out and always wash my delicates separately. | |
| D | Wash everything at 30 degrees in my energy efficient washing machine and then hang it out to dry naturally. |
